MPP: Localization and Accessibility for Pool Professional Training

The Challenge

As part of their global Master Pool Professional (MPP) training program, Team Horner needed a bilingual, multimedia eLearning module that would teach essential water chemistry concepts to a diverse learner base—from service techs to retail staff.

The module had to:

Reflect scientific accuracy in both English and Spanish
Be visually engaging and suited for online and mobile learning
Follow accessibility best practices, including transcripts, captions, and screen reader-compatible text

The Solution

We created shortt and engaging training experiences that introduce learners to water disinfection, safety, and the unique chemistry needs of recreational pools.

Dual-language delivery (English & Spanish)
Fully localized content, with narration, on-screen text, and interface translated and culturally adapted to reach both English- and Spanish-speaking audiences.
Accessible Course Player
Designed with screen-reader navigation, closed captions, visible transcripts, and a clear linear structure for consistent learner progress.
Mixed Media Content
The course blends live presenter video, animated explainers, and interactive text to make scientific content approachable and memorable.
Mobile-Friendly & LMS-Ready
Built in a responsive format compatible with modern LMS platforms, the course is optimized for learners using desktop, tablet, or mobile devices.

The Outcome

This course is now an integral part of the Master Pool Professional certification track. It has:
